Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPP, uploaded at least one week before the stay and not expiring during it. Dogs registered outside Missouri also need a Health Certificate.

Dogs who are not spayed or neutered, or who need solo play time, are charged an extra $20 per day. We take a limited number of these at once, so call before you book.

Boarding questions

What is the difference between the three room options?

The indoor/outdoor run is 5'x5' inside with a 5'x10' covered run outside, joined by a dog door your dog controls from dawn to dusk. The large indoor kennel is the same footprint but indoors only. The medium kennel is stainless steel and suits very small breeds only.

Do you charge less for a second dog?

Yes. A second dog is $40 a night in an indoor/outdoor run, $30 in a large indoor kennel and $20 in a medium kennel.

What deposit do you take, and what if I cancel?

A one-night deposit confirms the booking. Cancel more than 72 hours ahead and you get a full credit or a refund, whichever you prefer.

What time do I need to collect my dog?

By 11:00am on your last day, or an additional full day is billed. On Sundays we are closed but open for pickup only between 3:00 and 5:00pm.

Are holidays more expensive?

Major holidays carry a $10 per night surcharge: Christmas Eve and Day, Memorial Day weekend, July 4th weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, and New Year Eve and Day. Those dates book up first.

Will you give my dog medication?

Yes, at no extra charge, for oral medication and drops. We do not give injections. Please send medication in its original labelled container.

Does every dog get group play?

Group play runs weather permitting across four yards, capped at nine dogs each. Whether a particular dog joins in is at our discretion, based on temperament and how they get on with the others that day.

Is there a discount for service workers?

Yes, 10% off for military, police, first responders, RNs, doctors and techs. Just mention it when you book.

Does my dog get a bath?

Stay five nights or longer and the bath is free.

What vaccinations do you require?

Rabies (1 year or 3 year), Bordetella, and DHLPP. We prefer DHLPP but will also accept DAPPV or DAPPL. Records need to be uploaded at least a week before the booking and must not expire during the stay, or we may have to cancel. Dogs registered outside Missouri also need a Health Certificate under Department of Agriculture policy.

Do I need flea and tick preventative?

We ask that your dog starts a flea and tick preventative a week before boarding. Every dog is weighed and checked on arrival, and if fleas or ticks are found the dog is given a Capstar tablet, bathed, and kept separate for at least an hour, at the owner’s expense.

What should I bring?

Your dog’s own food, ideally portioned into a zip-lock bag for each feeding unless they are staying longer than a week. Beyond that, bring whatever makes them feel settled: toys, their own bed, their usual treats. A clean bed is provided free either way.

Do you follow my feeding schedule?

Yes. Tell us your dog’s schedule at drop-off and we keep to it.

What happens if my dog will not eat, or gets sick?

Before you leave we ask what you would like us to do in either case. If your dog becomes seriously unwell we contact you straight away, and there are two 24-hour emergency vets within 30 minutes of the facility. If we cannot reach you and the situation needs quick action, we can take your dog to the vet you have named or one of ours.

Do you board intact dogs or puppies?

We are currently trialling both, in limited numbers, so call before you book. Dogs who are not spayed or neutered, or who need solo play time, are charged an extra $20 a day because it takes time away from the routine for the other dogs.

What about kennel cough?

Kennel cough travels through the air much like a common cold. We disinfect the kennels daily and require every dog to be current on vaccinations. The vaccine works like a flu shot, so infection is still possible but symptoms are usually milder. Our staff watch for coughing, though it sometimes does not start until after a dog has gone home. Any time dogs are around other dogs there is some risk, and most cases are mild.

Ready to book?

Holiday weekends fill up early. Reserve your dog’s spot online, or call and we will talk it through with you.
